WorldBy.Com launches ScotlandBy.Com: online catalogue of selected hotel and resorts in Scotland

Today WorldBy.Com S.p.A., launched its new website - ScotlandBy.Com. The site will give Scottish Hoteliers and quality Accommodation Providers the opportunity to extend their online marketing via the web site with the unique, risk free, business model.

The business model is very simple. For each property they partner with WorldBy.Com builds a 10 page website that contains detailed information and an extensive photo gallery of 20 - 50 images of the property's rooms and public areas. The main philosophy of WorldBy.Com is to provide potential guests with as much detail as possible so as to enable visitors to the site to make informed decisions about their accommodation.

Becoming a partner holds no risks for participating properties as there are no set up or maintenance costs, no running costs and no subscription fees. The only cost to Partners is a 10% commission on net takings earned on reservations made via the ScotlandBy.Com website. Plus, WorldBy.Com does not work with any allotment agreements and all reservation requests are by request.

Potential guests will be able to make reservations via the web site and all requests are dealt with directly by the reservation staff at each property - allowing the accommodation providers to give a personal and friendly touch which is not possible through booking operators such as Expedia or e-bookers.

WorldBy.Com is in its third year of business and has recently become a public company, registered in Italy with a branch in London, England. Steady growth of 100% from 2001 to 2002 and an expected 30,000 reservations to the end of 2003 has the Italian company well placed to open an online catalogue of Scottish hotels. The company's Managing Director, Stefano Galastri, is enthusiastic about the launch of the ScotlandBy.Com and working with Scottish accommodation providers.

ScotlandBy.Com will initially feature Edinburgh and the Highlands with a strong emphasis on properties that provide a high quality accommodation and service. It is also vital that the property is able to manage correspondence and company statements and invoices via e-mail or online.
